Dr. Nosti explained my procedure in very clear terms. He was patient with my questions.He gave me literature to take home to read about the procedure. I never felt rushed or pressured to do the procedure.I made the decision to do the prolapse repair.I am so happy I didn’t wait to do the surgery.I feel great.His nurse was excellent as well. She was so caring and interested in my healing.The whole experience was great!

Dr. Nosti is a wonderful doctor. He was very informative before surgery and post surgery. Everything went well with my surgery and post op appointment. I am so grateful for his expertise and for all he does to help women to lead more productive lives.

Dr. Nosti, his staff and the hospital staff were exactly what anyone would expect and hope for in experiencing a surgical procedure. His expertise, gentle bedside manner and attention to detail put me at ease right away. I had recently had poor experiences with my father so I was so happy with the care I received from everyone. Dr. Nosti explained everything to me before and after surgery. Great staff and facilty, very clean and everyone there is so helpful and friendly. Dr. Nosti was so informative and made me very comfortable thru out the whole process. My surgery went great! Had my six week post op today and Dr. Nosti explained everything in detail and just overall amazing. Dr Nosti and his staff are awesome. I went to him with a pretty bad prolapse. After two surgeries I felt like a new women. I wasnt sure I would ever feel like that again. Im very grateful to Dr Nosti for all he did for me.

Dr. Nosti and staff are caring and informative. I was referred to Dr. Nosti by my gynecologist. Although, I did have to wait a few months to get in to see him , it was worth the wait. After surgery Dr. Nosti went and spoke to my husband regarding the surgery, none of that talking to the patient when they are under the influence of sedation and having no idea what was said to you. Dr. Nosti called me the following day to check on me and talk about the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Nosti to anyone needing Urogynecology services.

I can’t say enough great things about Urogynecolgy of Kansas City , Dr. Patrick Nosti and his entire staff, and AdventHealth at Shawnee Mission where my surgery was performed. I suffered a very severe prolapse after having my children & undergoing a hysterectomy years ago, and they worked with me for a few months on a non-surgical approach that did not work for me. So I scheduled surgery with Dr.Nosti. He performed several procedures to correct my prolapse & the underlying issues & I seriously think I’m back to pre- pregnancy shape in that area. I am truly amazed at how much better I feel & even the annoying lower back aches from organs being in the wrong location down there are gone. He also recommended some cancer preventative measures such as removing my ovaries & fallopian tubes since I am no longer at an age where I needed them. I would absolutely recommend family members, friends & any women going through some of these issues to set up an appt with Dr. Nosti and his staff…they are truly the best. I would 1000% go back to Dr. Nosti to do this exact surgery again and my post surgery results are better than I could ever have hoped for. 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

I would not recommend this facility as a whole at all.1- Nearly impossible to get someone to answer the phone or call you back2- When they do, one receptionist is incredibly hateful3- Dr. Nosti did a thorough exam and then met with my husband and I in his office. He kept suggesting things I had already tried. He finally suggested Botox to help with pelvic floor pain.(Praise God I did not do this!) When I asked about a partial hymenectomy he laughed and told me, “I guess you could, but that muscle is just going to grow back.” I left absolutely devastated and feeling like an idiot for suggestions the surgery.I was not okay with just being given bandaids for bullet wholes and wanted to know what was causing my issues. I went to Missouri Fertility in Columbia and within MINUTES the doctor told me I needed a partial hymenectomy and could not believe no other doctor knew that.I’m sharing my story in hopes of helping any women suffering with pelvic floor pain and not being taken care of the way they should.

My original gynecologist said I had no prolapse and kind of blew me off multiple times over my pelvic and back pain. I had all the symptoms of minor prolapse for 3 years. Dr. Nosti found a grade 2 prolapse, which normally isnt very problematic for women but for me it was unbearable and ruining my life. I couldnt work, ride in a car for very long, couldnt play sports or even sit on a bike. He tried several non-invasive routes, which helped but eventually we decided on a vaginal hysterectomy. Im only 38, so we left my ovaries and Im happier than Ive ever been. I had almost no pain after the surgery, no superficial surgical pain and the pelvic pain and back pain was gone when I woke up. I can say the worst part was the anesthesia because I get sick. He called the next day and the next week to check on me and has answered a few emails personally, which was pretty impressive to me. My quality of life went from really not being able to anything and not leaving the house for a couple years to having surgery in November to fighting a Raiders fan at Arrowhead on Christmas and getting back into racing and being able to travel and work again. I literally cant express how broken I was physically and mentally after dealing with the pain for 3 years and its like I woke up from surgery a different person. Nosti is worth the time it takes to get into him and with decent insurance I paid out of pocket less than $1k between him and the hospital cost. Side note for those that need this information: he DOES NOT require or ask your spouses thoughts/permission on a hysterectomy.

Dr. Nosti performed a very successful bladder and gynecological surgery on me in mid-January. I was very impressed that he, personally, called me the following morning to do a phone check. He was very thorough in his explanations of what to expect. I would highly recommend his expertise.

Dr Nosti provided a written copy of possible side effects and required medications and schedule on my part. He also described in detail what would be done, what I could expect during the healing process as time passes.

Dr. Nosti and his staff were very friendly, compassionate and thorough. I appreciate the time he spent with me prior to surgery. He personally checked in on me the day after surgery. Surgery and recovery went well. I would highly recommend Dr. Nosti and his staff.

He performed a successful hysterectomy/prolapse surgery & the removal of an old, failing sling in July, then did a sling re-do in October. Dr Nosti was excellent! He explained the entire surgical process in detail. Loved that he did a mock procedure to see if post op I would run into issues so that he could do an additional step verses an additional surgery in the future. I was referred to Doctor Patrick Nosti due to uterine prolapse, an issue I had been dealing with for some time, and surgery for a hysterectomy was scheduled. Uterine Prolapse can definitely cause other issues, and I am So Happy that I had this taken care of for a better quality of life. Doctor Nosti and his staff are top-notch! Dont put it, off call his office and make an appointment.

Ive been going to Dr. Nosti office for a year now and everytime I went I was treated with the up most respect. I was always seen by the nurse practitioner and she was wonderful always explain in detail what was going on. When the treatment that we started with was not working as we had hope I was then scheduled to see Dr. Nosti for surgery consult. Dr. Nosti was wonderful he explain everything that was going on with me and all that I would expect with surgery. Surgery center was a great experience no fear at all. Dr. Nosti was the only one that I found that could help my leakage after years of trying. I wished I would have found him sooner, my experience has been amazing!! He had to take care of the blunder that the other doctors had done before he put the sling in to take care of the problem

A very busy office but worth the wait. My first appointment was with Brandi M, the nurse practitioner. She gave me a very thorough exam and explained everything along the way. She was amazing. My next appt was for a procedure at the office with yet another amazing nurse. Dr. Nosti examined me afterwards and discussed options in detail. I scheduled surgery soon after. Dr. Nosti used the DaVinci for my surgery and I spent 1 night in the hospital. I had no post- op problems and very little discomfort. The surgery was a success and I felt normal within a few weeks. Thank you Dr. Nosti and staff!

I found Dr Nosti to be a great doctor, and he was very personable. I went to him originally with some health concerns and he listened and gave me options. I decided that surgery was the best option. After my hysterectomy nearly 20 years ago I knew that Pelvic Organ Prolapse surgery would be in my future. I procrastinated until I felt I was ready. I didnt want just anybody doing the surgery though. I wanted a professional/specialist who knew exactly what he/she was doing and did things well. After some research, I found Dr. Nosti. It was a little bit of a wait to see him but WELL worth the wait! I live an hour away from his office but I didnt mind the drive knowing I was seeing the right doctor for me. I had my surgery in July. I only stayed one night in the hospital. My recovery time was a lot less than I thought it would be. I felt good after only a couple of weeks. Everything is now in its place. I feel SO good! Dr. Nosti and his staff are polite and friendly and I felt genuinely cared for.

Dr. Nostis computer presentation was an eye opener. I could easily visualize why surgery was necessary for me. He was informative, kind and included me in the decision for different treatment options. I was so impressed with the attentiveness of the staff, and with all my visits leading up to my surgery. I even did a quick stop by to ask a question and a nurse happen to walk by, hearing my question she made an appointment ASAP! Dr. Nosti explained my surgery in detail, was very clear on pre-surgery and prep, checked in on me morning after surgery, and gave clear expectations how Id feel, along with home care until my 6 week post-op appointment. I cant say enough about the knowledge and care this whole group gave me.

When I started having difficulties, my gynecologist sent me to Dr. Nosti. This proved to be an excellent recommendation. The analysis of my condition was excellent and my treatment options were well-presented. I opted to have a surgical repair of my issues. All of the staff and Dr. Nosti were very pleasant and helpful. I only had two minor issues: it was a bit difficult to get ahold of the staff member that schedules surgery, and, although my procedure was considered major surgery, I felt so good afterwards it was hard to remember not to lift too much or work too hard during my recovery period!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Nosti and his entire staff. They should offer a master class in patience, empathy and kindness for all medical offices. Literally everyone in the office — from the front desk staff to his nurses to his NP, Brandi — is highly skilled and offers a sense of comfort and competence in every interaction. I was a surgery nurse for 20 years and assisted with pelvic surgeries many, many times. When I realized I had a bladder issue, my OB/GYN recommended I go to Dr. Nosti. She said she could do the surgery but that I should see the best surgeon for pelvic floor surgeries. I had to wait a couple of months to see him (he is so busy). It was worth the wait. He spent a lot of time explaining everything and what to expect. He was right and I just had my postop follow up with Dr. Nosti. Everything is good. I feel fine and have no issues at all. He and his staff were professional and kind. Any woman with a leakage problem or pressure from a uterine collapse should call and make an appointment today.

My initial visit with Dr Nosti was definitely the most educationalof all health experiences that I have incurred. He gave a detailed analysisof my options, including a surgical drawing and description of mysymptoms. He presented options and we discussed the various forms of treatment. Together we decided on a surgery andwas given detailed information on what to expect. With any surgery, onealways has healing pains that are unknown. I was very impressed from the beginning. I originally met with Kellie James, NP-C to have the preliminary testing done. As I suspected I was a good candidate for a total hysterectomy with posterior and anterior repair. She gave me several options before I decided on which fit best for me. I then had urodynamics done with Brandi who is very kind, caring and knowledgeable. Finally, prior to surgery I met with the man himself, Dr. Nosti. Dr. Nosti has excellent bedside manor. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease while taking measurements (not the best position for either to be in). Surgery day was quick and painless. The next several weeks, not so much. Good thing Dr. Nosti sends you home with some help for the pain. The office staff is very friendly even if you have already called 4 times post surgery. By far the most welcoming staff Ive been around in a long time. I highly recommend Dr. Nosti, Kellie, Brandi and everyone at Urogynecology of Kansas City!

Dr. Nosti is amazing! He explained to me in great detail about my surgery and I felt I was in very capable hands. He puts you at ease and listens very carefully to any concerns you may have. The staff at Urogynecology is efficient and attentive. The nurses were quick to call me back when I called after my surgery with any concerns, and believe me, I called them a lot!!! I left a message for Dr. Nosti and imagine my surprise when HE actually called me back! Several times the staff fit me in because I needed to be seen by Dr. Nosti. I am 6 weeks post op and I know if I have any more issues/concerns, that I will be taken seriously and be taken care of quickly. I highly recommend Dr. Nosti and Urogynecolgy of Kansas City.

Dr Nosti and his staff were wonderful through my whole process. I’m only 28, but knew I was suffering from a moderate prolapse, so I reached out to a Dr at St Luke’s. That Dr was awful & treated me terribly because of my age. Fearfully, I made an appointment at Dr. Nosti’s office with the NP. She was absolutely wonderful. The nurses were all very sweet. I had to do a bladder function test and was very embarrassed & uncomfortable. The nurse performing the test was so gracious and made me feel totally normal, completely easing my anxiety. Dr Nosti was just as amazing. He took his time, explained every thing and treated me like a human, regardless of my age. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone young or old suffering from urogynecology problems! I am now 6 weeks post op from my hysterectomy and prolapse repair and feel better than ever. Dr. Patrick Nosti was referred to me by my primary physician for a possible prolapse surgery. My health insurance afforded me 100% coverage at St. Josephs Hospital. However, Dr. Nosti works at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. His experience and references were outstanding; and, myself at 62, a type 2 diabetic which can always complicate things.....I wanted the best surgeon available! My surgery was in March 2018, and was told to expect a six to eight week recovery. I could not believe what a non-issue the recovery was! I found the surgery and the recovery to be NO BIG DEAL! And... the results have been excellent! If you are looking for a surgeon, STOP HERE! Dr. Nosti is the best choice!

This correction has needed to be done for several years. I was just to embarrassed to go. I heard about Dr. Nosti and made an appointment. Best decision I made for myself. I encountered only kindness from all his staff, surgery team and most importantly Dr. Nosti himself. What a difference this has made in my life. Simply the BEST Urogynocologist!! Dr. Nosti is a very talented surgeon! He is very compassionate and thorough!The surgical procedures he performed on me were very successful, and life changing!! I had researched online for a Urogynecologist and Dr Nossi had such great reviews. I made an appt for a Uterine Prolapse my Primary Dr said I had when doing my yearly womens exam, she said I needed to get in and see a Gynecologist. The Dr was okay but the staff was rude. Especially the lady trying to schedule my pelvic floor therapy. This was my first time there and my husband just had 2 surgeries in the last 2 months which after paying several thousand out of pocket have finally met our deductible so I was trying just to get stuff scheduled as much as I could before the end of the year cause we have already had so many costs. The lady that was scheduling my therapy just had no sympathy nor did she even try and understand. I will not be going back to this Dr I literally left that office feeling bad for going in for a prolapse, not how any person should have to feel . No excuse for their behavior.

Dr Nosti did a wonderful job repairing my pelvic floor! The surgery, and recommended physical therapy has corrected my posture and I can stand up straight again and have no discomfort. It is a painful surgery & recovery, but SO worth it! He is a very caring and professional surgeon! I highly recommend him and his staff! I was seen by Dr. Nosti for a prolapsed bladder, I had concerns about surgery, so he gave me alternative options but also explained in detail my surgical options. I have had 2 kids and since then I have had years of issues with bladder leakage (as most moms do). This year I found out there was something I could do about it and decided I wasnt going to go another year with issues of bladder leakage. IBefore my bladder sling surgery, I had 2-3 appointments to see what was causing the leakage. The nurses thoroughly explained my options and I chose the bladder sling. I had my surgery in early September and there really wasnt any down time. I took off from work the day of surgery and the day after, but honestly I could have gone to work the day after surgery because I felt fine). I am one month out from surgery and have not had a single bladder leak since the surgery!!The hardest part of the bladder sling surgery is not being able to lift over 10 pounds for 1 month and not being overactive. There was absolutely no physical pain after the surgery.I highly recommend Dr. Nosti and his staff at Urogynecology of Kansas City!

I saw Dr. Butrick twice back in 2018. He was abrasive on my first visit. When I mentioned something traumatic had happened to me, he asked when in my life, and I said it was in adulthood. He dismissed it as unimportant because it didn’t happen in childhood. When I had concerns about low dose muscle relaxers for pain making me unsafe to drive he simply told me that lots of patients took the same dose with no problems. As though different bodies don’t respond differently to medications. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Nosti did an excellent job with the procedure, but after eight weeks, I was forced to go back to work even though I was not feeling ready. After 4 months, I wrote a review here and he contacted me and again went over everything again and had options for dealing with the discomfort. However, in my opinion I was forced to go back to work too early. As a teacher, I have no choice but to be upright. 8 weeks was not enough time to recover after having my insides moved 10cm up. If you have really bad prolapse and have to go back to work, just know unless there is a complication, you will not be able to take off more time. My first day upright was my first day back to work. I literally could not do my job for the first two weeks with the pain which was not good for students or me.

I’m updating my review from one star to four, because at first I felt like my time and money was not respected. I also thought I would have to have more visits before I had my procedure. Dr. Nosti contacted me and I now have a better understanding of what and why the visits I had were for and that I won’t need any more visits before my procedure. It was very kind of him to explain the process.

I highly recommend dr. Nosti. I had a pelvic organ prolapse that was supposedly fixed by one surgeon it did not take. Dr. nosti Repaired it and it has stayed. He explained everything in a way I could understand, address any questions or concerns I had. While there was some pain there was pain medicine to help. His office staff is very easy to work with and the nurses were wonderful.

I saw Dr. Butrick earlier this week after my previous urogynecologist moved to Florida. After a very thorough exam he had a game plan on how to move forward, and these were options never mentioned before by any of my previous doctors. Patrick Nosti is simply the best doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with all of my life……and I’m 73 years old so I’ve had several doctors throughout my lifetime. Dr Nosti and his staff are very professional and very caring. I had a uterine prolapse plus a hysterectomy. At my initial visit he listened to my concerns and explained my options in detail along with giving me paperwork to refer to later. After surgery I was released within 6 to 8 hours and recovered quickly. My pain level from a 1 to 10 was only a 2 or 3, and I also appreciated a call from him the next day to check on me. As a woman, Dr Nosti restored my dignity and his kindness and surgical skills are truly amazing. I would and have already referred him to many women who are dealing with these issues. Dr Nosti is #1 and a truly superb doctor of Urogynecolgy! HE’s SIMPLY THE BEST!♥️
